There are several opportunities for Bible Study throughout the week and on Sunday mornings at Bethlehem.
Adult Bible Study
Between the English and Hmong services on Sunday mornings, adults (members and non-members) are encouraged to join the large group Bible study in the fellowship hall. For more information, contact the church office.
Wednesday Morning Pericope Study
Members and friends of Bethlehem Lutheran Church meet every Wednesday morning (10 am) in the library to study the forthcoming Sunday’s lessons. Pastor Raddatz leads the class, in which the Gospel lesson is emphasized. The pastor and participants follow a study guide that is very helpful in generating stimulating questions.
LifeLight Bible Study Series
LifeLight is an in-depth bible study produced by Concordia Publishing House (CPH) for adults of all ages. One of the goals of LifeLight is to help develop the habit of studying God’s Word on a daily basis. The theme for the fall session is “The Christian’s Mission.” To participate in the series, contact Harry Doten.
“Grace Upon Grace: Spirituality for Today”
Pastor Nathan Raddatz teaches the class. Participants learn the basic teachings of the Christian faith. For those who complete “Grace Upon Grace,” they may apply for membership at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. For more information, contact the church office. The next class will start on Tuesday, September 13th.
